Join us for the 15th edition of Kent County's premier fundraiser. An evening where artisan grilling meets conservation — where every seat purchased directly invests in preserving and expanding our beloved parks and trail systems.
Since 2004, Something's Grilling has raised over $3 million in support of Kent County parks development. This milestone XV edition continues that legacy of community, conservation, and excellence.

Don & Nancy Lubbers
Arend D. "Don" Lubbers & Nancy Lubbers
Don served as the second president of Grand Valley State University from 1968 to 2001 — thirty-two years that transformed a small regional college into one of Michigan's largest public universities.
Nancy has been a steady force in education, advancement, and community-building across West Michigan. The Nancy Lubbers Garden on Grand Valley's Pew Campus bears her name in recognition of her contributions.
Together, they have championed mental health awareness, the dignity of public service, and the belief that strong institutions belong to everyone who calls a place home.
